PCB announced new HBL PSL 2022 schedule for the remaining matches

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the remaining matches of HBL PSL 2022. The remaining matches of the event were postponed to March 17 due to Cove-19 attack.The remaining four matches of the cricket event will be played on 14, 15 and 17 November in Lahore. The qualifiers teams will play on 14 November and on date 15 Elementary teams will play against each other. PSL final 2022 will play on 17 November 2022 at Lahore Qaddafi cricket stadium.

The dates of the remaining matches of the event have been finalized after consultation with the four teams – Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi – while the start time of the matches will be announced later. All the matches of the tournament will be played under the Coveted 19 protocols, where all players, match officials and relevant staff will live in a bio secure environment. During the tournament matches crowed is not allowed due to COVID-19 and matches will be played behind closed door. But if situation suitable then may be PCB allowed the crowed with SOP’s and social distance protocols.

Wasim Khan, Chief Executive PCB:

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan said that after this announcement, not only all speculations will die down but now all the teams have enough time to prepare for these matches.

Wasim Khan said that the PCB was ready held psl matches and the winner of the HBL PSL come after final match. We have seen a lot of excitement and we are hopeful that a campaign will be launched for the fans even before the rest of the matches.

He further said that the announcement of holding the remaining four matches of HBL PSL 2022 also confirms that Pakistan has managed to control the epidemic of COVID-19, like other sports, the domestic cricket season 21-2022. Is also starting soon where home series with Zimbabwe and South Africa will also be played, including competitions for various age groups, men’s and women’s cricket.

The successful conduct of domestic season 21-2022 matches will be helpful for HBLPSL 2022 in February, March next year, we are looking forward to share happiness on the faces of the people.

Four teams in the remaining matches of HBL PSL are only Peshawar Zalmi has won the event before. HBL PSL 2022 is the second major tournament held in Pakistan after the Asia Cup 2008. The total prize money for the event is set at US 10 1 million. The winning team of the event will receive a trophy and a prize money of US  500,000 USD. The runner-up is set at 2200,000 USD.
